Programs and fees
A single session fee is $100.00. A session typically lasts around and hour and a half.
In addition to single sessions, I offer multi-session programs for some common issues:

Living Smoke Free
The Living Smoke-Free program uses the power of hypnosis to support your commitment to health, starting with letting go of cigarettes. This series of 3 hypnosis sessions focuses on strengthening your motivation and willpower, and supporting habit change. The first 2 sessions are usually scheduled 1 to 2 weeks apart; you’ll schedule the final session after you complete the first 2 sessions. The fee for the Living Smoke Free program is $250.00, payable at the first session.
Session 1: Motivate!
In the initial interview, we focus on preparing for quitting by uncovering and strengthening your deepest reasons for giving up the smoking habit, including identifying alternative outlets for your renewed, healthy energy. The hypnosis sessions address both relaxation and motivation.
Session 2: Quit for good
In this session, you will realize your goal—becoming a non-smoker. The session reinforces the tools for change developed in the first appointment, including relaxation on demand.
Session 3: Support for living smoke-free
You’ll schedule this appointment when you feel the need for additional support for your commitment to living smoke-free.
Weight Control Program
The Weight Control program uses the power of hypnosis to support your commitment to achieve and maintain a healthy weight. The program is a series of 6 hypnosis sessions focused on motivation, mindfulness, habit change, self‑hypnosis, and support for exercise. The first 5 sessions are scheduled at 1- to 2-week intervals; the final session is scheduled after you complete the first 5 sessions. The fee for the Weight Control program is $450.00, payable at the first session.
Session 1: Start where you are
This initial interview allows us to get to know each other—you learn more about my philosophy and approach, and I learn more about your situation, your strengths, and your goals. The session includes hypnosis sessions on relaxation and strengthening motivation.
Session 2: Mindfulness
Mindfulness, or awareness without judgment, is central to the Weight Control Program. It’s key to long-term weight reduction, because awareness of the body’s signals about food and movement is an important factor in weight control.
Session 3: Willpower—a how to manual
The latest science seems to confirm what anyone struggling with weight issues already suspects: willpower alone doesn’t work! Based on an understanding of how willpower operates in the brain, this session focuses on developing custom strategies for changing—not breaking—habits that get in our way.
Session 4: Self hypnosis
Self hypnosis is a powerful tool for positive change. This session teaches self-hypnosis techniques for meeting challenges as you continue your progress with controlling your weight.
Session 5: Move it to lose it
While regular exercise isn’t essential for reducing weight initially, it’s a good predictor of long-term success in maintaining a healthy weight. This session focuses on designing an exercise option not just for your body, but also your mind and spirit.
Session 6: Support for continuing success
The session is a follow-up appointment that you will schedule as you feel the need to reinforce your program of weight control.
